I'm seeing FPS... night time. Nearly abandoned section of a ruined city. Player's low on rounds and has to enter a Library full of creatures in order to save someone who screamed for help.

That's a pretty good image for this I didn't think of. Especially if it's a really creepy FPS, like F.E.A.R. or similar.

Dawn on a distant planet in a distant galaxy, it's sun glowing bright blue. Long shadows cast from the jagged rocky surface. A slight reflection seen as ripples of water spring to life.

Life.

That's pretty close to what I had in mind. It's amazing what I can do with only two sounds, a choir patch and the inherent noise from my sound card, with the radical effects in Ableton Live.
