The drive out to Raleigh on Friday wasn't that problematic. I decided not to do the normal route out of the city (which is to follow 401 North, and then something magical happens-- which means I don't pay attention here, and we somehow get onto a highway that leads us to 95), and instead, I followed the GPS. I think that you're referring to 301 (Eastern Boulevard). If you come from Grove Street, you can't turn left on 301 to get to 95 due to construction. :)

I am glad you enjoyed the concert. I haven't been to a concert in ages. We want to go see the Lieutenant Dan Band on September 13, though. It's supposed to be at Festival Park downtown.

Yep, it was 301. I remember that now.

This was the first concert I'd been to in years, although when I think about it, I haven't really been to that many. I can recall them all, which was weird when I mentioned that at the concert. My friend Nicole said that she couldn't count them all. I've been to 15 shows (if you count a high school friend's dad's band playing in the high school auditorium one school night, and then Stroke 9 playing for free on the soccer field one afternoon at college).
