Today I bought a drum. It's absolutely beautiful. Maple wood, steer hide. 18 inches. It has a black bird diving into the sky with a couple other birds flying in the background. I'm going to be curled up in a fetal position for a while crying over the price tag, but there was no way I was leaving that store without it.

hi there, I replied to a couplke of your posts on the solitary wiccans, I hope you don't mind if I add you, you seem a little like me, I love karaoke- I don't go out much anymore but I did do a lot in bars- now it is mainly singstar!

I am an English teacher and a pagan witch, I belong to a pagan group and hold several rituals that I write. I have been pagan for many years and my interests lie in meditation though drumming, rune work, candle work, and herb lore :)

I am more than happy to go it alone- so long as I am with friends! I have been singing for years and years and really want to do more of it :)

Re paganism, it can be overwhelming and all sorts of books tell you different things- I have a bookcase full of books, some I have read cover to cover, some just dipped into. I would never call myself an expert, I think you are always learning and you will learn that you can never be an expert in everything- some things will sit well with you and some won't.

as said, check out my little community, no one posts on there anymore really but I have watchers- fel free to post, I wish it was more active, but mainly I use it to put rituals and spells into the memories
