I don't get it. Why would someone pay to have their LJ archived? LJ already archives things for you....?

To my understanding, though admittedly I could have misunderstood due to seeing red immediately following percieved invasion of privacy, they're asking for payment to keep your private stuff private. I believe there is still a choice to join or not, but people should be aware.
