Lost is great. If you can catchup on DVD I would recommend it.

you know rice krispies have gluten in them, right? i only ask because a lot of people are not aware of this. ok but back to the topic: i have been craving rice krispie treats like CRAZY. i was gonna make some with the crisp brown rice cereal (basically brown rice krispies, GF) and kosher marshmallows.... and then I had to go and get on this stupid south beach diet. no more sugar for me. bah.

blueberries! good idea. i think some time this weekend i'm going to make unsweetened blueberry muffins with coconut flour (which is naturally sweet but also low-glycemic). that sounds even better than rice krispie treats, in fact.

yeah...rice krispies have all kinds of crap in them. but i will deal with it because i HAVE to have it. LOL. i don't have celiac...i am just wheat and oat intolerant. i am actually finding that i can do wheat in moderation and have no problems. i went off wheat for 3 or 4 months and now my body seems to tolerate it better. not sure if that makes sense.

how is the south beach diet going?

what's in rice krispies is barley so then you should be fine. well if you're not celiac and don't have a major gluten intolerance, than it makes total sense to try to reintroduce offending foods in small amounts. that's how they're treating food allergies with kids more and more these days - even going against convention by feeding small amounts of peanut butter (in a medical environment) to peanut allergic (anaphylactic) kids and finding that over time they can make them able to tolerate small amounts ( ... )

actually a holistic doctor told me that i could probably start eating wheat and oats again in moderation....and he was right. i still like to find alternatives as it just makes me feel better and is healthier all around I think.

i wonder if other GF folks on the SB diet have had similiar experiences? my theory is that if you are already GF and you try to cut the sugars your body may not react as quickly.

hopefully you can find something that works. wanting to loose weight sucks. why haven't they invented a pill that actually melts the weight off overnight...or some sort of contraption like on *the jetsons* that i can just walk through?
:)
