I read, therefore I am

I need some summer reading suggestions. I'm looking for something of the fiction persuasion (since I already have tons of non-fiction on my night stand). Also, I don't really care for science fiction or fantasy.

Otherwise, suggest away!

Dunn, Geek Love
James Ellroy, LA Confidential. White Jazz is good, too,

I bought a pile of Dorothy Sayer mysteries for the summer, which are all fun and tidy and Britishy. Walrus and Carpenter has a pile of them.

If you're looking for good girly fun, I'd recommend John Irving, either A Son of the Circus or A Prayer for Owen Meany.

This is a great resource. Start with Life of Pi, if you haven't read it.

I was recently introduced to Sandra Brown mysteries. Not bad, I would say.

Hi, I did a search for other people in Pocatello on LJ since I just moved here and don't know anyone yet! If that weirds you out or something let me know and I'll unfriend you.

For fiction I would recommend Lady Oracle by Margaret Atwood.

I don't mind that you friended me. However, I rarely write public posts and I have to know someone pretty well before I add them to my friends list.

Thanks for the book recommendation!
