[When Envy had gone out for a walk tonight, he had not expected to come across anyone this late and in this weather. But when he hears the singing in the distance, he can't help but be curious to go see what might be happening. As he gets closer though, he recognizes China's voice, as well as the uncharacteristically eerie tone it holds. And when he gets close enough to see what's happening, he knows that there is something very, very wrong. He calls out from a safe distance, voice wary.] Yao?
[Envy smiles and shrugs as though nothing is wrong, but that's just a front while he tries to figure out what's going on. He definitely notices the lack of 'aru'.] It certainly is.
Cooper finds the video immediately. What strikes him hardest after the initial alarm is frustration - that he's not there and armed, that he can't do anything ... Other than trying to talk sense into this person. Or whoever was in pulling the strings.

[ being that a few of Kisa's Pokémon are nocturnal, she was letting Hoshi soak for a bit outside, but it's Ari's growling and running off that ultimately leads to her chasing after her.
And that leads this twelve-year-old to China. And he's... bleeding? ]
[China just laughs as though everything is completely alright.]
It's only a... how do they say it again...? Ah... It's only a flesh wound.
[He laughs again, but more to himself this time. There's something about his voice that can make one tell it's not really China that's talking. It looked like China, but it certainly was not his spirit.]
[Luke's not sure what to make of China or his Pokemon. But soon the heavy footsteps of an Ursaring following and the bear Pokemon makes her way over to sit next to Luke. She doesn't look happy about what's going on either.]

Good evening. Isn't it a beautiful night?
[Li takes the time to gain more distance from his master. Also China had not said a single "aru" in those two sentences.]

What's the glass for?

I just found it on the street. I thought I'd pick it up so no one would get hurt. [He chuckles.]
[There was so much irony in his words considering he had purposely cut himself with the glass and the fact he had just tried to attack Li.]

That looks completely unnecessary.
[He says it calmly, but his voice is tight.]

Why?

[He doesn't want to use China's name for the very simple reason that he doesn't think this is him. Not really.]

I'm just trying to have some fun is all. Besides, it's such a beautiful night this evening, perfect for going out for a walk.

[ kind of bleeding from the eyes. And Kisa stops in her tracks, because every single sense is clamoring that SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT. ]

[He takes a single step closer to her, still holding the glass in his hand.]

He stands his ground, after all that Pokemon's in danger.]
L-leave that Pokemon alone! I don't know what you're really up to, but I won't let you hurt it!

[That creepy smile never leaves his face, nor does he let go of the glass in his hand.]

China! What on earth are you doing?!

[He chuckles darkly and pays no mind to the blood tears falling from his eyes, or the blood from his self-inflicted cut.]
