So I was coasting along, laughing my ass off at the hilarious, pithy one-liners (Headbands! Cake! Love letters that smell of solvent and oil!), and then you turned up with that last bit and oh my gosh, my heart. I love the literal and metaphorical disarming so, so much. What a beautiful, evocative image. ♥

Incest is a squick for me and I don't ship Alan/Nick, but your entries so far have been among my favourites. Lovely job!

I would have spit a drink out if I had been drinking. This was brilliant! I love how the beginning is structured with all dialogue, the banter between the brothers, the hints of how they may feel towards each other, and then the ending part with all action...Wonderful job!

Lovelovelovelovelove. Um, have I mentioned how much I freaking adored this? The lines were BRILLIANT. I was cracking up every other sentence almost. And it was prefect. Alan and Nick and the way you portrayed their lives. And the format, that was awesome too, and yeah, I so loved this.

Ugh, I love how you capture Nick & Alan's particular kind of domesticity so well by mixing in the every day and the witty and the violent and that, to me, is their relationship so well. Your writing is alternately hilarious and beautiful and. Yes. This is totally amazing.
