I really, really, really loved your characterization of Gerald with his mix of hurt and vulnerable and mindfucky and yes. I can see how young he is here, and how he'll grow to be who he is and just. My heart broke for him here. Great job!

I love how manipulative Gerald is without ever outright showing it, and I love how you got into his head so well. And Arthur...well, he's not called "Black" for nothing.

...oh, this was brilliant. I adore your prose. It's so pretty. And holy cow, did you make me laugh at times. And the details, like Black Arthur's hair being a little greasy and the floral scent of the conditioner? Agh, amazing. I was distinctly uncomfortable, yet totally intrigued, and you capture the characters brilliantly.
