but what has happened becasue you did not pick up that paperclip? maybe something would not have happened because you picked it up? maybe you have forever changed the entire course of your life. who knows. wouldnt it be cool if we could see the effect of all our causes? like one of those books where you choose your own ending? it would be great if life were as simple as going back to the last decision you wish you hadnt made and starting all over again.
