Oh I remember the start of marriage. That was such a fun time. Not that it gets less fun, but there was something about the first months being married that was just special.

And hello, I'm Katy (which I'm sure you gathered from the usernme).

I'm really happy that you decided to join the community, Stephanie.

Who would have thought that, just because you happened to occupy my former apartment, that we'd still be friends all these years later? :^)

Gross. I will put the blame on Old Room-mate Juli, because I specifically remember her cooking lots of potatoes in that kitchen! I've never bought potatoes in my entire life. I like them, but living alone for the most part I don't see a reason to buy a big bag of them. 2 maybe.

Putting yourself out there is always scary. I'm so glad that you decided to do so. I look forward to getting to know you through your writing.

So how's Johnstown treating you (other than the laundry facilities and Sears)?

I'm going to write my entry when I get home... This is going to be so much fun. I have so many things to say, but I'm not quite sure how I'm going to combine them in an entry yet. Thank goodness we have until Friday to get the entry in!

Yeah, I decided that since this entry could potentially cripple me and since it's a no-elimination to just start typing and get it over with. What I've written I'm not particularly proud of, and I don't think it's really much of an introduction to me, but oh well.

*smiles* It's a hard topic, but I'm ready for the challenge to get writing again. It's amazing how much I want to write but can never sit myself down and actually do it.

I really like this idea of a non-elimination round to start off. It gives us a better chance to get used to the contest than just jumping in head first without knowing what we are doing.

I treat novels like conversations too. :)
