Aaaah, this was awesome. I’ve been saving this fic for a time when I had time to read it in one sitting, and I finally got the time to sit down and thoroughly enjoy it with some tea and a grilled cheese sandwich. Perfect. Sunday.
Your writing is great; I really like your style. It’s easy to read and you capture the characters and feel of the book itself. Loved the new characters too, well, liked anyway. I’m not sure if anyone could love Shae, but I liked her punky self anyway. Anael too (hoe do you pronounce that name? I kept hearing Anael but with the ‘e’ missing in my head whenever I red its name, er.), I especially like how you wrote him getting used to being human.
Was life ever easy for the beings on this plane of existence?
