Title: REPEAL AND REPLACE

Summary: When one of the Four Horsepersons of the Apocalypse decides to retire early, the other three find it difficult to accept, and are a little miffed at having their fortnightly brunch-drinks-and-trivia-games disrupted by the weird newcomer.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY GLORIOUS kittyroxdive1 December 30 2016, 02:31:46 UTC
This fic and the art are absolutely precious and I couldn't ask for a better gift!! Thank you so much for this!! Death having future versions of memes is amazing and I can definitely see him being the meme lord of Tumblr when the time comes. Happy Holidays!!

I'm so glad you like it! Omg I had such fun thinking of motivations in this story. It always seemed to me that Death exists just slightly out of time, so seeing the future made sense. And if he sees Tumblr in advance, then he'd probably call it a sign of the apocalypse. :D

Pollution really is a visionary...
I enjoyed this fic and the art is a perfect complement.

Thank you! :D Yep, he sees the future all right, and it's not pretty. Which of course he likes.

It's always hard to have friends that don't quite get it. But he does kind of like them all, and he's got the patiences of countless saints. :)

DEATH's cloack *Q*!!

I almost feel sorry for pestilence... e.e
your art is pretty <3, absolutely adored War Famine and Death's reaction in the first picture!

also are we felling reflective?

You noticed the stars? My work is not in vain! Don't feel too sorry for Frost, because he's not the nicest guy to us humans. None of them are. XD

Oh, thank you! ^_^ I did love the snarky faces.

Reflective? You mean about the things Pollution said? Because, yeah, I literally think about that every single day of my life. And trying to find background pictures for the last image was really hard, as I kept finding sad polar bears and dead birds in oil spills... *weeps* It's hard for me to be a fan of the Horsepersons as a fun thing, because they represent things that I take very seriously. But fandom can also be therapeutic. :)

It is therapeutic!
I think you did great with the background, I'm not a really good artist but I get how hard it is to get a good background!! eheeh

Fantastic to see both fic and illustrations centering on the Horsepersons. This is the first time I can remember somebody covering the transition from Pestilence to Pollution, too. Thanks for participating, and Happy New Year!

Come to think of it, I haven't read a fic about this before either. Would be interesting if I'm the first.
