Thanks <3 I really enjoyed describing Crowley from the outside exactly BECAUSE he is such a softcake.

Oh, thank you so much for this! I love it, especially the last line (just aww). You wove it together really well - it started out a little confusing and then everything became clear as it went on, and Crowley trying so much to protect Aziraphale without Aziraphale even realising it properly until the end was wonderful and sweet (Crowley is a sweetheart really and I have a huge soft spot for fics that showcase it). Oh, just, the whole thing was brilliant, and I am definitely bookmarking it to return to in the future. Thank you again, Secret Writer! :-)

I am so glad you enjoyed your present! I'm sorry if it was confusing at the beginning (I was a bit worried about that). And the whole "Crowley being a sweetheart thing" was the one reason that kept me from quitting mid-Decemeber when I felt completely tangled up in all those plotlines. Oh, and if you want to return in the future: I plan to post the story on Ao3 (some prefer this site to LJ).
I also want to say thanks in return: Your prompt felt tailor-made for me (protectiveness and danger - yes please) and it was a pleasure to write for you =)

Oh no don't worry, not bad confusing, it was just that it sort of jumped in while something was happening and it took a while to unfold exactly what had happened, you know? In a good way - I like the gradually revealing more detail as it went on. :-) Oh excellent, I will bookmark it on there then (I use AO3 far more often than LJ to be honest). Haha, no problem. Protectiveness fics are my ultimate weakness so I'm overjoyed to have got one like this as a prompt-fill/gift!

Oh Gosh, this is sooo well done, really beautiful.
The amount of affection that transpires is so sweet and you were able to render Aziraphale's fear and horror so vividly, and wow, your portayal of Crowley is wonderful. I realy liked the soft tones, and implied emotion of their interactions, you made it romantic and loving without being explicit or cheesy, that's something I admire a lot!

Thank you so much <3 I actually suck at romantic stuff unless I smuggle it into a ball of angsty action. So... I am delighted that you noticed the undertones nonetheless.
