I love the idea that everyone comes to understand at least, in the end. Merlin is scary, and horrible in his methods sometimes, but it's so so so so understandable at the same time. and there's Morgana who loved fiercely and had so much ripped from her she ends up in this crazy cabin in the woods like some kind of medieval unabomber (that's tasteless, oh well) and Crowley who when it comes down to it, loves stuff more than he ever should - Earth, sushi, wine, Aziraphale. So the idea of him like............ugh hghghghghhg sosososososo good yes yes
