Interesting! I'd never seen a Potterverse fic from quite that far back in time that wasn't connected to the Founders. Very lovely exposition on the virtues of Hufflepuff House.

I considered the Founders' time at first, but then the houses would not have had an established character, nor could there much of a family house tradition. The times of Harry, his parents and children on the other hand have been done so often that ... well, it's not that I don't still love to read those, but I wanted to write something else.

Thank you SO MUCH for this! <3 This was the best way to start my morning (especially since I had trouble getting out of bed and have a pretty long day at uni ahead)!
I'm so happy how many things you included that I like! Hufflepuff being badass! Az und Crowley having important heritages! Crowley being some pureblood dude's son! Musings about houses!
Also a thing I never knew I needed so much in my life: magical wars and a Hogwarts period I've never considered before!! Aaaah! (I have to end every sentence with an exclamation mark!! I am that excited!)
Also, Az' overly stuffy speech totally kills it, it's amazing xD

I'm so glad you like it! I was a little worried, because I couldn't manage Hufflepuff!Aziraphale for you. (They clearly wanted to be in the same house and while I could have made Crowley be a Hufflepuff it didn't seem fair that one should get his family's house and the other shouldn't.)

This was so cute, I really loved what you did both with the timeset and with the characters! So intersting to see how life was before the wizards had to hide. Crowley and Aziraphale were adorable, especially how baffled but polite was Crowley in front of Aziraphale honest but stuffy proclaims. And tha final House choice was perfect, considering the Hat's reasons. This is really a succesful Crossover!

Wow, the whole thing is lovely, but I'm especially entranced by your spot-on characterization of the Sorting Hat. Brilliant!
