Title: Holidays Meditations For: pastelmice From: solarpillar Rating: G to PG-13 Warning: Slight violent imageries involving War Characters: Horsepersons, and everyone, and the Endless.

Ok, this is impossibly embarrassing, but "Broken Machery" is supposed to be "Broken Machinery" and while my beta did pick it up I somehow forgot to edit that part. Sorry everyone. /sob in a corner
This is beautiful and amazing and perfect. I love the whole rhythm of the piece and how the focus pans from character to character. And all of the pictures are excellent. And I love the combination of distant and personal elements, and of serious things and funny bits. The penultimate paragraph especially made me laugh because I wanted to read my gift right away but had a project that I needed to finish by midnight. (I was good. I waited until I finished. Now I just need to work on another project due next midnight. Procrastination, yay(?)! <<; )
Thank you so much, Secret Writer/Typography Artist! I really love it!
I'm glad that you liked it! I was worried that it'd be too bland because you said that you liked smart dialogues in the request and I was all like "dialogues, how do I write them" and when I tried to draw there was this serious artist's block. Then I remembered the strange biographies at the end of Sandman tomes, but I couldn't find my stock photos CD, my tablet was acting weird and my fonts collection was in another (near-dead) computer. So in the end I went for the look of a meditation-ish text posted on a webpage with ads that invoke the horsepersons.
I'm really happy that you loved it. Hope your projects went well!
That's a gorgeous meditation from both angles, on the Horsepeople and the Endless. I really like the musing tone of this - it's restful and thoughtful and creepy in the best possible way. And you pinpoint the attractiveness and the repulsiveness of all your subjects so well. Splendidly done!
Thank you! I don't know if you have noticed this, but the big black spots on the Pollution picture spell out "Pollution" when you put them back together.
As for the flow, you have to thank my beta for this because in the first draft the incorporation of the characters were a bit awkward and the horsepersons had unequal screen-times. Then my beta pointed out that I didn't give Famine enough descriptors, so I worked harder on each character until it worked and actually had transitions.
Admit that you enjoyed them while they were open ;P
Really, often I feel like if TV Tropes was sucking my life and soul out. It made me waste hours and hours of time per day and ruined my vocabulary. Now I can't write any fiction, fan or original, without thinking of tropes. Eek.

The pictures are meant to mimic ads, by the way.
