Do the tichels come pre-tied, or does one have to learn to tie them?

I can certainly see why they're more comfortable!

They have both pre-tied and untied ones (my preferred) that you tie yourself. They also have tying instructions.

They're at Sara's Playgroup in Brighton. It's run by Sara S. from Kadimah.

Ben's only 1 year older :)

Indeed! :-) But I think he's one of their only age-mate friends.

Surely you, of all people, did not say "one of their only"?

Blame sloppy rewriting (that sentence started out as "I think he's their only age-mate friend"). What I meant was "one of their few."

Time is passing, very quickly!

I've never seen you in a tichel (though I have seen you in snoods and hats) but I'm sure it looks lovely on you. I find them very comfortable and have enjoyed learning to tie them (though I wear them for temperature control and neatness of appearance rather than observance).

There's a picture of me here in a tichel (and very pregnant; this was the Readercon before Muffin and Squeaker were born).
