mabfan had his wisdom teeth out yesterday, so the theme of this week's Shabbat meal is "relatively easy to eat." We're alone for dinner and have one guest for lunch. So, here's what I made or am making for the meals:

Tonight

-- Challah and grape juice
-- Corn chowder
-- Ice cream for dessert

Tomorrow-- Challah and grape juice ( Read more... )

Berry soup and ice cream are perfect for a Fourth of July Shabbat!

I wish someone had cared to make for me appropriate food that was special and delicious after the extraction of my wisdom teeth.

I imagine the patient will feel attended-to and extra-loved and the pain as he recovers will be mitigated.

Refuah shleimah!

any chance that you want to cook us these very same meals next week? And do you deliver? ;)

i just want to say that i've made that "baked ziti with three cheeses" recipe several times since you first posted the link. i don't make the sauce from scratch for it, but it's still downright yummy. :)

I had that done to me many years ago. It hurt for a long time afterward, probably because two of them were at 90 degrees to their proper orientation. I wish him a quicker recovery than I had.
