Wow, yay for Lynnette! I have been to Anchorage train station car park but there weren't any bald eagles there at the time. They must be a more recent addition. :-)

Yay, bald eagles are very mobile.

Did you go on the train? I didn't but got to wait a very long time in a bus at the tunnel to Whittier for the train to go past. It is a very slow train.

I did go on the Alaska railroad. It was fab.

Yay I went to Alaska at the end of my gap year before university with my parents - my dad was working for BP out there so my mum and I tagged along. We stayed in the Sheraton hotel (paid for by the company). We went on a float plane trip flying above glaciers and two boat trips to see glaciers and wildlife. It was my first time (and only!) time in the US.

You are very lucky to go and see many places. You must carry on taking many photos. Yay for sweet and wonderful Lynnette.
