Hey.
I absolutely love Ksnyatin Point.
I know that getting said : "I'm speechless, period." is quite annoying ,but I seriously don't know what else to say.
You make your characters so mysterious, and everyone's so different. The whole story has a 'chill down the spine' and '?' effect. And you just give out enough, but not too much that would... well, give out too much XP.

I seriously adore your work and hope you don't stop.

Ksnyatin Point is a looong story and I probably won't run out of ideas and inspiration anytime soon, but you reminded me that I really need to make a backup of everything. My computer is six or seven years old and it's a tickling bomb...

You have a true gift. Not only is the story amazing, but your images are awesome. I do stories too, but I don't invest that much into the images. I can tell you really put thought into your captures. I love the whole look of it. It's like an awesome movie set.

Well, I just see my sim story like a blend of a written tale and a visual creation, so both pictures and text are important to me. (:
Also, anything that mentions movies is a huge compliment to me. :D I am a pure cinephile, I study cinema and I want to do something cinema related in the future (in short, thanks).

And to answer your questions, to place a sim on a counter, you need one of Sim Poser OMSPs --> http://realizeadream.wordpress.com/2008/10/02/sim-poser-omsps-no-ofb-required/ . They're like any other OMSPs, except that you can place sims on these, not only objects.

As far as I know, there's no way to make sims smoke - the cigarette I used in my pictures was an accesory from rosesims2.net, and the smoke was added in Photoshop.

- I love the idea of people being grey, and their grey being affected by the people, their environment and well, just about everyone, and your comment pretty much reminds me of a nice quote, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
I think the underlying themes behind your story pretty much encompass the idea behind the quote. :D

- Yeah, I know that you meant the population of adult in the realism of the story. That was a joke (well, maybe a lame one) - it's just... the difference between how Ksnyatin looks in pictures and how everything looks in my game often makes me lol. Thanks, comments are very encouraging, especially now, when I am a bit stuck with this story. Hopefully I will find my inspiration again and you will get a chance to find out why he is there. :D
