I know. I'm kind of surprised Hermione never expressed having a problem with animal transfiguration. I remember something about a hedgehog being turned into a pincushion, and then flinching away from pins. :(
Yeah, the wizarding world is definitely ripe for an animal rights movement. The trauma of a smooth transfiguration must be bad enough, but there are all these half-successful trials by students that made me think of these horror photos you sometimes see of lab animal torture experiments, like that photo of that animal they experimentally grafted an ear onto, or the ones of monkeys with horrible contraptions attached to their brains and heads and such. Then again, considering what they do to other intelligent magical beings, even ones they can talk to, not to mention the regular memory wipes they perform without consent on muggles, I suspect owls and hedgehogs may just be out of luck with them.
Is there a speed control on the Queeky playback? It seems to go very fast through almost everything, and then slow through the part where you color the background.
I couldn't find a speed control either. Maybe that's something they'll add in the future. I think the site is run by just one guy, but he seems interested in communicating and trying to give people what they want.

The is so the way the owl transforms. I can't imagine it doing it another way. Transformation stage choice win.
