I haven't seen Knight rider yet but it's on my list. Many years ago I saw the original Kitt at Universal studios - love your pic here. I am start shipping Kitt/Impala.

And Doris rules and I love that they had her as an archer!

Thanks! YES, definitely Kitt/Impala. There needs to be fic. With crime-fighting and racing and possibly side-by-side oil changes.

Whoops, HOT SAUCE. Yay Doris.

Ack! Dean + arrow is NOT my OTP! Poor Dean!

Though, very cute, and it's such a neat drawing.

Ha! Did KITT have the old-school Cylon-eyes swinging red light? The clips I saw didn't really show it...

Interesting how Scribbler developed - it's almost a rotoscope thinger. In fact it probably is. Hmm. Wonder if the deliberate randomness changes that?

He did have the red eyes! I don't remember if they were exactly like the original, but yes!

Yes, I thought it was interesting, too. That guy makes the coolest stuff. I don't have any idea how simple or complicated the coding is, but the results are so complex and warm, to me. I love that the drawings have such character, and yet they're just a bunch of straight lines. (And I'm referring to the Scribbler gallery when I talk about character; not mine, as such.) ;)

"Wonder if the deliberate randomness changes that?"

Changes what?

Changes what?

Whether it can still be considered a rotoscoping tool, as one could give scribbler a series of line images traced from stills, but the randomness in the line determiner bit of the code might not give you an animatable series of pics at the end of it.

I think the question should have been "wonder if the deliberate randomness affects it's usefulness as a rotoscoping tool?", heh :)

Ooh! Old-school 2.9! :D

Ah, yes. Yes, yes, good point.

Have you seen My Love? I've only just heard of it because of the Oscars. The frames have that same slightly stuttery quality. But it's beautiful (although I've only seen the poor quality youtube clips).
