*is gobsmacked*

This is amazing, doubly so for being ArtPad. I love watching the movie to see your technique. I've been trying to learn more about using the bucket tool, so this was especially informative to me.

Beautiful.

Thank you so much! I only just found the bucket. I was trying to cover a lot of area with just the brush, and then I saw hey, wait a minute, there's a bucket here!

Want to know how lame I am? I'll tell you. A few weeks ago, I got excited about the snapeartcontest and while reading the rules I realized the there was some however-slim chance that I might win someday, and knowing myself as I do, I know that I am lousy when it comes to follow-through, and I would be the worst host ever. Heh. Ahem. I just want to play with no thought for responsibilites. *is poorly socialized* ;)

I'm sitting here all slackjawed. I couldn't believe you used ArtPad for that before I clicked on the movie, and now that I've watched it (*cough*twice*cough), I still can't believe it. The way you put down all those layers of color and made that sheet of paper- I can't think that far ahead!

Totally amazing.

Aw, gosh, thank you. :D

Know what's been in my head lately? Polymer clay. Because you are the polyclay queen and I keep thinking about that box of sweets you did which is just fantastic and inspiring, and here I have a whole pack of the stuff in my supply drawer just languishing, and I need to get it out and be crafty with it, really.

Polyclay queen? Wow, thanks! And you totally should dig that languishing clay out and make something. Do you have the kind that's all one color that you paint afterwards, or an assortment of different colors? I've found that they both have their pluses and minuses, depending on the project. (And I'm beginning to wonder if boring old modeling clay might be the answer for tableaux that are just going to get scrapped when I'm done photographing them. Less bleeding of colors into each other, and cheaper, too!)

I hope you get crafty! I'm sure I'll be writhing in envy over whatever you create.

I have both kinds, yes. I've only ever used the pre-colored, but several months ago I got a block of white and thought I might try painting it with acrylics afterwards. The imitation challenge is rolling around again at hp_fringeart, and I'm trying to think of some sort of famous sculpture I could attempt to parody...

Gnat! ♥ Where have you been? I missed you! :)

This has me gaping at the screen - I love watching the process, but :O!!! You put so much detail and subtle shading and thought into this *flabbergasted* I have no idea how you managed to control the painting tool through all that - after the initial background work and sketching the parts in, my arm started seizing up in sympathy - heh

*massive Gnat!Art love*

*clings* I missed you, too! I've been eaten. The brain-snatching zombies got me. I always get that way this time of year, what with the day length and all the holiday hubbub.

I actually timed this one, which I almost always forget to do, and it was about 3 1/2 hours. Which... yeah. That's kind of insane, isn't it? Ahem. But eeee, I have a tablet now! Like all you cool kids! I can give artweaver a whirl now, yay.

Wow. This is so solid. The depth of colour you've built up is utterly luscious; all these beautiful delicate colours all layered into each other... Seeing the playback was ooooh. The insight into how you arrived there was so interesting! Did you do this with a mouse? I see above that you've got a tablet! Whee! :D

I think my fave parts must be the back ground and the paper. And the little lights! And the circuit drawings. And the wires. And. and. and! and. and. And hearts semicolon.

And you wrote! rawr. From what I've seen of the programme, this is firmly in character. I LOVE the idea of an EMF meter made from a toaster. ♥

OMG, I'm flailing here. And blushing. And meeping. Aah, you, thank you!

Yes, I have a tablet! I'm beside myself. This was mouse, though, and the chia Snape thing was mouse, but I think that's the last of the mouse art.

EMF meter made from a toaster Heh, how cumbersome though. Not to mention burny.

This was mouse? O.O !!! Wow. :D

Heh, how cumbersome though. Not to mention burny.
Would you need to have it plugged into the wall? And presumably taking a reading would imvolve the toaster being used...

"I'm gonna need to take a reading of this, see what we can make out."
"I'll get the bread."
