Any of you cat people ever have cats with urinary tract problems? Fun, aren't they? One of my feline friends commenced peeing outside the litterbox. Those in the know advise a trip to the vet to rule out a medical problem when that happens because cats will associate pain urinating, etc, with the litter box and seek a more comfortable place. According to WDIV-TV's web site, "Woman Named Coke Caught with Drugs." Apparently a police K-9 unit in Roseville (a suburb of Detroit, for those of you who aren't from around here) pulled her over, and found, in her car, $8 million worth of . . . you guessed it . . .

Tonight, one of the best shows on TV, Family Guy, came back with new episodes. This is one of my all-time favorite shows, and with so few watchable comedies on TV anymore, it's nice to have it back.

Today was the last day of my judicial clerkship, and now, a few days shy of the second anniversary of my graduation from law school, I'm getting ready to enter the private practice of law.

In a move that highlights the need for due diligence, it seems that an Illinois lawyer accidentally sued himself. It seems that the attorney filed a class action claim against a mortgage lender for allegedly charging excessive fees.
