Great Eclipse:

Writing is being difficult. It's Chapter 30, all there is to it.  I've only got a handful of chapters left here and it seems like 30 and 31 are going to take a lot of careful slow thought. I've been working on 30 since I posted 29 and I've only managed to revise a tiny bit (and add 3 pages).

Heh. Give them all a talking to!! Fics won't always behave, will they? ;-)

(I should add that if you ever wonder why I'm not reading your fics so far, it's simply because it's a proven fact that DW characters + 'adult' situation = brain explosion. It's not pretty. I have an incurable tendency to go 'eek' rather than 'squee'. I feel bad not at least giving 'friend's fics a look, but there it is!)

My First Doctor/TARDIS fics are clean...er, not adult. LOL.
If you look at FF.net versions you'll see that the majority of what I have is very mild and far more spiritual in description then what I'm posting here.
And Honestly I don't mind if Adult situations with Doctor Who bothers you. It did start off as a children's show after all.

I'm fine with virtually any of the above but the River / Doctor relationship is not sitting well with me. River I can see being infatuated with the Doctor for a number of reasons but from my perspective the Doctor would never consider a sexual realtionship with her for the following reasons 1) she has been very seriously damaged mentally because of her parents failure to protect her 2) He is her doctor in the medical term of the word and it would be an abuse of his position 3) He would know that it would be taking advantage of the known susceptbility of individuals in abuse situations to fixate in a sexual manner on those who are kind and helping them if he did 3) there is the bond between him & Rich trying to assert itself 4) she & Simon are as close a thing as he has in the universe to family and being susan's great to the x power grand kids he is going to perceive them as perm off limits for fear of jepordizing that relationship which would be far more important to him then most because of how much he has lost 5) on a personal

I can see the logic to that, it was getting too close for comfort on that one and I am relieved to know that it's not in your plans to go there. *has flashback of Rose talking to her dad in "Fathers Day" "... and we're not going there. As always I am looking forward to seeing the next chapter regardless of which part you update next. Of course I am very interested in seeing how you proceed with how the Doctor was won as well as how you get Rich sprung out of the slam and, for that matter how he wound up in the past. Also have to agree on the pictures they are very very well done!
