Well, I have more styles than just one, you know. This is kind of my "basic comic book" style. It's not as tight as my Red Dahlia stuff, but not as loose as NS either.
The facial expressions in the "is that" panel and the one following are outstanding.
Anyway, I don't remember where I first ran across you but I've seen you on LJ a few times and I think you're interesting. And I like your drawering style a lot. So I finally "friended" you. :)
You have an evil Spock icon so you're instantly hella-awesome in my book :)
If you like my work, feel free to check out my site, Panel2Panel.com. It's not currently updating much (due to mine being in school finishing up my degree) but there's TONS of stuff on there that'll keep you busy for a while before I do start updating again this summer.
Those two panels and the one where the girl says "I'll be right there" (her face) are my favorite parts in this 6 page sequence.
I hate stories that spell everything out for you. However, there's also the delicate balance of not making something too wrapped up in concept that it's unaccessible by the average reader. I thought the pack being empty was a nice subtle clue as to what's going on before you read the last page without screaming to the audience artwise "BRUCE WILLIS IS DEAD" like how The Sixth Sense was ruined for me the first time viewing by a drunkard that yelled that out in the first 5 minutes of the film starting and left the theater.

This is very, very different art than NS. I wouldn't have said it was yours. I really like what you did in the "Goodbye, luv" panel.

This is just a random comment... because I couldn't just skip past this magnificence without leaving a compliment.

It takes time to build up enough for an anthology of my own work... It's not like I don't have the stories in my head...It's the income I'm lacking.
