The older woman glanced momentarily at Eva's nude form and said, "Your clothes ... I removed them along with Jordan's to help aid in the healing process. I will return them to you. Now that you are awake, perhaps it is best if you stay in the Avatar's private apartments. It may be a few hours before dear Jordan finally decides to wake up."

She stared cooly back at Oban, feeling more than a little dismissed by that glance, and stood. "I want to be here when he wakes up. You're going to bring me back here when he's about to, got it? I know you'll be able to tell." After a pause, she continued. "Thanks."

"All right, I shall do as you wish."
And with those words, Oban closed her eyes in concentration. Eva felt her body dissolving into golden motes of light and vanish.
Eva appeared inside Jordan's room, seated comfortably on the edge of his bed. She was fully dressed in the clothes she had been wearing when she went to rescue Jordan. She looked about the quaint little room, comforted by the familiarity of it all.
Oban stood off to one side of the room. Her incredibly long hair was constantly in motion, an effect that made it seem as if the woman were walking underwater. Her filmy white dress fluttered about her ankles, the long trailing sleeves seemed to defy gravity. She approached Eva cautiously, almost shyly, even. Her footsteps were noiseless, weightless, as is she were not as solid as she appeared to be.
"Are you comfortable, Eva?" Oban asked. "Do you need anything?"
