[RL Locked to Ten and Eva, et all] The Long Dark Night of the Avatar's Soul

Jordan lay half-buried in the sticky, black substance that comprised this world's ocean. His mind was shattered, his strength waning, his body growing colder by the minute as the Shadows greedily sucked the warmth from his flesh. They dug their slimy nails into his wounds, drawing the hot blood from his body. He shuddered violently as the black ( Read more... )

The Doctor had already picked up all of his fellow rescuers as fast as he could. As the TARDIS materialised in the grand palace, he glanced over at them all. He was still worried, especially about Eva. Obviously, they couldn't have found Jordan without her, but... he was worried. Anything that could trap a god just couldn't be good. And as for the TARDIS, she sounded almost sick. Wheezy.

"Hey, old girl, what's going on?" he muttered. "She sounds ill, almost. Still..." he turned to the small group. "Right! Who's up for a bit of rescue, then?"

[[You didn't reply to my volunteering but you said you had picked "everyone" up so I thought I'd come along.]]

Havoc looked up from where he sat in the TARDIS, checking his rifle for jams and cleaning its systems.

"Sounds good to me, just tell me who isn't on our side and stand back." He says to the Doctor with a wink, he'd already made a point of having EVA [[his EVA, not Jordan;s EVA XD]] mark his fellow rescuers radar tags as friendly.

Vivi didn't know any of these people. He wanted to help his friend, but he usually did that with other friends... Still, if they were rescuing Jordan, they must be okay. He gripped his Octagon Rod tightly and looked around.

"D-Do we know where he is?" he asked quietly.

Aang looked around, his eyes adjusting to seeing in black and white. The other members of the rescue team were in full colour, at least. Some he recognized and some he didn't. He brought his staff with him, and kept it in a firm grip.

The darkness surrounding them didn't help the black-and-white situation. With the air seeming stale but not explosive, Aang decided to take his chances and Firebend a flame in his hand. It was small at first, as he wanted to be cautious. Their surroundings weren't entirely clear still, but the rescue party was illuminated at the very least.

Would you (or anyone else) be averse to Havoc trundling a nuke out of the TARDIS just before we set off?
