In the month and year I was born, it's good to know that Dick was perving on Roy. In fact, he continued that tradition in the January 2006 Outsiders, so obviously my birthday means something to Dick. Like Roy.

I love it that you brought scans, because I can share in the joy even though I know nothing about these comics. Best things: Alfred's "no" after Robin asked if his wit was really missed, and the whole Goodwill scene. Because a New Kids on the Block jacket is what every wizard needs.

All I can say is that I'm SO glad Tim didn't call Alfred "Alfie" as he and other Robins sometimes do. That always makes me cringe.

Shazam in a NKOTB jacket is PURE JOY, no doubt about it.

Tim is freakishly pretty in some of those Batscans. And when I read the newest Robin, I had to have A Moment when I got to that particular page. Oh, Timmy, only Dick keeps you from getting out on that ledge yourself, doesn't he?

Hmm, Superman Confidential... that sounds good. I am gaga for Superman this year. I hope it's just a prelude to finding a way to make Superman queer and not a segue into accepting Christianity ;)

Superman Confidential has the writer of New Frontier with the artist from Long Halloween and Dark Victory and Lois is tiny and curvey and Clark is big and galooty and it is LOVE.
