Moving hurts, because with each object I put away in a neatly labeled box, I am haunted by the memories of happier times.
It kinda feels like that, doesn't it? It feels like, with each object you put away, you're burying something that could have been but wasn't.
Yet, when you unpack and put everything in a new, maybe even better place, it's like you're giving them a new beginning, a new chance to be.
So it's like you're packing away the person you thought/wanted/needed to be, but you'll be unpacking and dusting off the person that can be, the person you really are. And that is good.
Moving is a bit like dying and then being reborn from the ashes. Go Fawkes!
