The Doctor's memories leave lots of questions that I know will never be answered: who was the crying woman? (The woman of Woman Wept, perhaps? Reinterpreted by the brain?)
I love the idea of the early TARDIS, old-fashioned but tidy and in good condition, almost like a vintage typewriter.
This was marvellous Glory. Such wonderful imagery as you describe the Doctor's thoughts and memories. Beautiful devotion from Rose even though she knows she might lose herself. Now its the doctors turn to take care of her and I hope repeat her sentiments.
Real life is a bitch sometimes. I hope it doesnt keep you away from this story for to long.
Aw, that was so sweet :) They both know exactly what to do and say to make the other feel better, and his love for her is like this subtle undercurrent in the last part that that makes me want to hug them both. Can't wait for part two!

And yeah, the Doctor's mental imagery will probably be unexplained. He likes to keep his secrets. ;)

RL continues to annoy, but this story is remarkably persistent so **fingers crossed**.
