That question always gets me. I don't believe it is a fundamental right; some people should NOT have children. The world is overpopulated, some people are CRAPPY parents, etc. However, I don't think there should be any restrictions because there is NO feasible way to do them justly, especially not preemptively.

Agreed! It's just a weird debate- just because you *can* have kids does that mean you *should*? And there are so many kids hoping desperately to be adopted, that shouldn't be ignored. But then again, I have always wanted kids- kids are weird and totally awesome, especially when they kinda look like you. I am totally protective of my younger cousins and so on....

It's weird. And if you're restricting people from having children... that's not right either.

Complicated.

But I think changing the language slightly from "right" to "responsibility" is probably a step in the right direction. You can't do whatever the hell you like, just because you have the "right" to it. Causes have effects, and these cute little bundles of joy will eventually have a huge effect on the human race.

Long term, people. Long term.

I really dont understand why people make such a huge fuss about gay couples adopting.
Because they're gay they're unfit to raise a child?

Seriously people. Remove head from sphincter then speak.
