So it looks like you guys will be seeing a lot of me over the next three days.

I don't have to work, and I don't have to sail, and I don't have to row.

Por que, you ask?

Because I slashed my foot open against a shell while at the beach today, and now I can't walk without blood gushing from my wound.

I did that when I was in Italy some years back. It hurts like a bitch.

I lost enough blood to make me lose feeling in my left foot. That is to say, it did not fall asleep -- there was just... no feeling in it.

I left quite a bit of red footprints behind, too. ._.

Getting slashed? Yeah, it hurt, but I'm tough. I made it through relatively fine a couple minutes afterwards. It wasn't as bad as I made it out to be.

Realizing that my blood wasn't clotting and OMG IT WOULDN'T STOP... not so much.

That would freak me out too. I stepped on a razor once when I was a kid, so stories like that give me chills.

But it's patched up now, right?
