Am on Chapter 9. Ike is at an amazing Level 14 ( omgwtf ), while the rest of the army is just reaching Level 10. yes i used him a lot to protect Soren and Mia in earlier chapters stfu Also have Ike/Oscar C, Ike/Soren C, and Titania/Rhys C for Support.

Sadly have not yet started DQ8.

Ike can max himself out so quickly it's scary. And while every other character gets promoted once they reach level "21" without aid of item, Ike gets the autopromotion at the end of chapter... 18? I think that's the one.

I'm on chapter 15 (I think...) and he's been level 20 for a while now.
