Okay, here's the dealio.

Haine ( the one with camo pants ) called a meeting for them, because stuff is going missing in Twilight Town. Like, photographs, jewels, books, etc. No one knows how or why this stuff is disappearing, but Seifer and his cronies are spreading rumors that Haine and his friends are stealing the stuff. So they're going to go look for Seifer and clear their name.

Now, the choking bit? This is where it gets confusing. There's a word they want to say, but when they say it, there's no sound. The word has been stolen from them.
