The first thing I saw of his was Henry V. And I loved Much Ado - he and Emma played off each other so well.

I did not see this! But I have a special love for white-blonde Kenneth in Hamlet, I will look out for the movie.

It's on Netflix, but seriously - fair warning - it is absolutely terrible. Inexplicably so, as Branagh directed and the cast is full of fantastic actors (HB Carter, Robert Dinero, Tom Hulce, Ian Holm...). I don't know what he was smoking back in 1994.

Did it help? I know I saw this ages ago, but didn't really remember anything about it (except for the extended slip and slide through primordial ooze with a naked Deniro scene). I watched maybe 5 min. of the scene preceding that when I did these caps - the one where he dumps HB Carter so he can go play with his monster - and it was painful.

Just..so...many...unnecessary....pauses...and...heaving...sighs...between..words. It was just so overwrought. And did I mention, painful?

Hello, indeed! ;-)

Next up on the Netflix queue is Othello (since I'm on a KB kick, apparently).
