Scent. There shouldn’t be anything out of the ordinary about the way he smells. He’s showered this morning and used his own shampoo and deodorant and his usual shave cream, so no changes to note there.

Skin. Checking himself over in the mirror for bites, scratches, or other irritations, he finds no visible marks on his face or throat. He digs out ( Read more... )

Yeah - Lestrade is such a pushover.

I've loved every minute of this.

The paragraph describing Sherlock's "feeding frenzy" is priceless. This whole section is so warm and human and right. The ending strikes the perfect note.

And while this feels like the ideal end to this story, I'm selfish enough to hope you'll write more in this pairing in the future.

Well done indeed.

Thanks for sticking with it!

I have a few ideas for a follow-up, but I might not have a chance to work on it for awhile. They are my OTP, after all - can't just leave 'em hanging. :-)

(This is the bland version - I had to cut the hyper version and will send to you as a PM)

I loved the series, and also hope you continue. From now on there is no other Lestrade pairing than this!

And the hilarity continues as Lestrade tries desperately to hide any evidence of his night with Wallander from Sherlock's probing eyes! *g* As I'm a terrible liar, I got a kick out of the way Lestrade worked carefully on his strategy before going to Baker Street and then blew it when that one question from Sherlock threw him into a panic. And it's simply wonderful that Lestrade is so paranoid that he assumes that Sherlock has not only studied micro-expressions but has trained himself to make them as well!

I love the way you've ended this story with Lestrade deciding that he needs to take a real holiday. That final text message is perfect. :-)

I'm glad you thought it was funny. While I amuse myself to no end, I have no idea sometimes if what I write has the intended effect. :-)

This was absolutely excellent. Your characterisations and the pacing where spot on. I hope you will get to writing another series shortly. Plus the graphics and covers really worked perfectly

But, where is the rest? You can't just leave it there! Well, I guess you can, but I really like this crossover :D

Thanks! I'm sure I'll write them again. I'm trying to plot out a case fic with them at the moment, but it's very slow going.
