very nice piece. based on the quote you used, you did a wonderful job of capturing Snape's emotions.

Snape's expression is just perfect for either that quote, or the "Avada Kedavra" of Dumbledore. Love the drama of all the contrasts

Hee - the contrasts came about because I was too lazy to draw a more realistic background *g*, but I was really surprised how it turned out when I was finished. Thanks!

Such a good expression!!! You can really see the hurt in his eyes along with the total anger and loss of control!! Beautiful drawing! (I love your B&W inks!) XD

(Oooh - and how's the keyboard going hon?)

Hey canon! *glomps*

Thank you, I thought you might like this one, lol. I really was going to draw a real background-I was thinking Hagrid's house burning- but I checked the map JKR drew, and gosh darn it, the house would've been on Snape's other side. Blast. So I copped out, and I completely ignored the fact that the Quidditch pitch would be there. ;)

(As far as playing, it's wonderful. I'm essentially polishing all the songs I already know, but am slowly learning Schumann's Traumerei. As far as connecting it to my computer... don't ask. *fails at technology*)

*glomps back - twice for good measure!* :D

*g* I believe ya - mostly because of the number of times I've intended to draw a background...and then copped out too and and done some interesting nebulous shading or a wall instead XD But I have to say I'm so impressed at your checking for details!! (truly!) My brain gets totally confused when I try to do that!

(Oooh Traumerei - I love that piece (it's the only one of Schumman's that I can even vaguely play - though I normally trail off about half way through!). *g* I've reverted back to childhood and am playing from my Bartok books - they're easy, but very sweet pieces! You have to keep trying to connect it to your computer though *pokes you* - I want to hear you play!!! :D )

Lol, please don't be impressed, be afraid of my neurotic tendencies and obsession with minute but essentially useless details. Be very afraid. XD

Ooh, but I like your nebulous shading. Sometimes I feel like a true, detailed background would take away from the focal point, not to mention take twice as long to finish. At least that's my excuse! ;)

(*bangs head against desk. repeatedly* Okay, I've got it hooked up, and even transfered a recorded song onto my computer. That, by the way is monumental. I can't believe I got that far. However, it's in CFK file format, which none of my media players will read, and I have no idea how to convert it to mp3 or wma files. Is what I want to do that difficult and complex? I can customize and layer up the wazoo, but can I just make a cd of a song? Of course not! *flails* My delicate constitution wasn't made for this. I will get it eventually, but in the meantime, grr.)

*goes to play Traumerei to calm down*
