As with everything else in our modern world, publicity is the way to get noticed. I've started with the most obvious venues - online new sites and newsblogs, specifically those that enjoy a good Entertainment-related story.

Y'know Glock, I've given this some thought, and realized we might be overacting. I say this because they released a couple screencaps (they must've wanted to get filming underway immediately) and it looks freaking GREAT:

Frankly I'd support CGI/greenscreen duplicates of Patrick Fucking Stewart as the entire cast of Air Nomads at this point. I mean, if we've got to suspend our disbelief this far already... XD

"These characters look white to me."

What? No they don't. And even so, my cousin looks white and she's black. So "looks white to you" means jack.

I'm finding some people have a really hard time conceptualizing non-white people outside of a stereotyped art style or 'look' that's been perpetuated in society's media. So despite every other visual clue pointing towards 'not white', the size of a character's eyes and the colour of a character's skin are the only two measuring factors used to determine race.

Utterly, utterly baffles me.
