Wow. With a few exceptions, RPS isn't really my thing, so that doesn't affect me (and I'd sooner RPS James McAvoy with... well, me. Or is that just masturbatory fantasy?), but now it's definitely not if it includes him.

*sigh* I hate learning things like this when it comes to movies/TV shows that I like. It always tends to leave a bad taste in my mouth when I rewatch them.

Hello! I just want to say that I agree with this motherfucking post in its entirety. I mean, I've been in RPF fandoms for years and I know there has to be a certain degree of handwaving going on because real people are frequently dicks, but handwaving something like this is just monumentally shitty and I hate fandom for doing it.
