I hadn’t intended to get up and go to church this morning, but because the timing of my bathroom break was right, it seemed wrong to go back to bed and miss out on meeting the new pastor. I got a pair of blueberry pancakes out of the deal

Shawn left my house that night on foot. I gave him a beer and a compass and wished him the best. Do you think he made it home?

You're not getting the beer back, you know. Who knows about the compass. I'm sure he made it somewhere, and really that's what matters.
