Finally got some Christmas time off (if one day, a Friday, to give a long weekend, really counts), and I've gone down with a major lurgey. Started brewing on Thursday, properly kicked in yesterday, even worse today. So a total wash out, frankly! And it even had the gall to snow. Not much, but onto frost, so needless to say I haven't left the house

Only trouble is I don't get paid if I take time off sick, and that 'holiday' day was upaid too, so I'll be hit really hard if I take any of next week off through illness. I'm not as bad right now as I was at 5 o'clock this morning, but then, at 5 o'clock this morning I was about ready to pull my teeth out if it might have reduced the pressure and pain in my head...
