I've spent the past hour making chicken curry for tomorrow. When I tasted the sauce, I thought, 'Wow, this really lacks something, that garam masala we got in New Zealand must be rubbish' and so I added some more along with more cinnamon, stirred it around and let it cook another five minutes ( Read more... )

I love the picture of the stream and the tree. The artistic blurriness gives it a nice effect actually.

OMG green grass!! I want to fling myself on it and absorb the sun. All our grass is brown and half ice still.

It's just annoying, the camera only started fading this week - tried to take pics of some items at the museum and they're all useless :/ At least we can get a new one in the duty-free.

Actually had to mow the lawn the other day!! Spring has sprung!

Oh, and I forgot to say that I hope you take a bunch of pictures in Germany!

I got it, thanks! And yeah will take pics on the new camera :D - though will have to take the old camera too as we're going to Dachau pretty much straight after landing and won't have time to charge the new camera.

The camera is 7 years old, very well-travelled and has been dropped on a few occasions, poor thing. It's annoying though, in the old days a camera lasted for 30 years, this one can't even last 10.

HAHA well it would be impossible to make a curry with just salt, the curry I make has about 8 spices and condiments in it. Should taste it now and see how it's settled overnight.

Curry is fab. I'll be making naan bread in an hour or so to go with it :D

Yes, those are gravestones - there's some in the first pic, too. I always try to avoid stepping on the graves when I take church photos. Most of those were Victorian graves.

Yeah and I'm STILL thinking about it! Woke up thinking about it! God, I even wanted to draw a picture of their wedding! HAHAHA
