You'd be surprised! A lot of people have done G-rated fics! This year they've got an asexual kink bingo, so there's a lot more G/PG fics than usual. And I think about half of mine are probably PG - I have another Onmyouji PG one to post later. I can't write NC17 Onmyouji any more, it doesn't fit the Heian sensibility, for me. So I'm actually glad that there's so much PG kink around!

They were writing on Seimei's magic paper that I've mentioned before in fics. Otherwise it would take months for even one letter to get through LOL how boring that would be!

Are you giving a paper at the symposium? When is it taking place?

Yes, but they didn't talk about it! I just can't write NC17 fic for this fandom any more *shrugs*

Oh that sounds very cool but also a bit scary! Hope you can learn a lot from those specialists!

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Seimei returns and when they play with the toys in the chest -

I love them - thank you for fulfilling my fix - LOL

Supposedly - but the publisher's internet has been up and down for the last two weeks so I haven't heard if I have any other changes since I completed the final galley ;(

There shouldn't be anything after the galley stages so it looks like it's all set and ready to go!

Oooh, I love this! Their voices are so clear.

I hope your journey is less tedious than... whatever it is you find most tedious.

... and the rest of that. Oh, Hiromasa. :-) How so cute?

in a moment you’ll fling my letter to the floor and declare that I’m impossible

This, I think, is the only thing Hiromasa's wrong about here.

You have some interesting things in that chest, Seimei! You know what I mean.

LOL! Oh, Seimei... now I wonder if he did that on purpose. *g*

Eeek, Seimei writes poetry back!

They are so cute with their epistolary flirting. It's pretty clear they're both pining horribly. :-)

Sweetness!

Thank you - I hadn't tried letter fic before so it was an interesting challenge. Seimei would try very hard not to be obvious in his pining but he just can't help himself *g*

<333 *melts* Heeeee love letters! I love how Seimei's letters are so subtle, so refrained, so simple (and factual-frank) as opposed to Hiromasa's open affections; what colorful contrast! But amusingly so, how Hiromasa toned down his a little (esp the poem+"BTW..." letter) towards the end, and then Seimei goes full-force with his very affectionate letter, and yet how adorably Seimei the letter is when he ends it with "I hope I have not made too great a fool of myself." HAHAHA. SEIMEI, Y SO CUTE?

Beautiful as always! <3 Always a delight to read your Onmyouji stuff.

Thanks hun <3 and I'm glad you noticed the way the addresses shifted, less from Hiromasa as Seimei began to write more, I kept going up and down the document to make sure I'd balanced those out LMAO

That's so painstaking! But it paid off really well, I really liked that whole contrast of length/tone in their letters <3
