Is that Tamson House as in the sentient building in 2 (IIRC) of Charles de Lint's novels?

I don't know, but... Tamson House is one of the few communal/co-operative house situation in all the universes that I think I could actually live in, quite happily, since it, and the inhabitants, *get* that some people need a fair amount of solitude. *wry*
