I have to express my joy:
I love Alex and Izzie. Alex being so sweet to Izzie made me swoon to bits.
I love Mark. I love Lexie. I love that the latter has been infesting the show since the season started. Floves it.
I love the direction at where their heading. I get excited over little things, like how they did a hip bump in tonights episode.

THIS. OMG. I was over the moon about the Alex/Izzie moments in this episode. I love that Alex is taking such amazing care of her, but at the same time, for the first time in his life, he tells her "you need to start taking care of yourself because I can't keep being the one responsible" because he respects her enough. I love how much those two grow when they're together. :-)
And I think that my IQ is rapidly degrading, because I just found out that Lexie is a resident - via Mark, who said, "You're the best second year resident.."
I scratched my head. I did not blink last week for two hours on the season premiere and I cant believe that I missed that mention?
Don't worry, it was an easy thing to miss. When I first heard it I think my jaw dropped.
