Because you all want to know what's going on inside my mouth

So I saw a dentist this afternoon for the first time in 10-15 years. You have dental insurance, right? I know that I was really bothered when an LJ friend of mine got a toothache and he said something about not having dental insurance. Largely, I was bothered by teeth actually needing insurance.

I don't have insurance, actually; this is all going on my card and getting paid off gradually. While I don't want to cheap out on it entirely...I actually do. But I probably won't. This is why I need to keep calling my mom, so she can convince me to go to the appointments even though the infection healed! All on its own! Which is exactly what I keep waiting for things to do!

the prospect of that is...enjoyable. Not.

Exactly.

You have no major medical insurance? Are you going to an oral surgeon? Part or all of this may be covered by major medical...check with her or his office. Good thoughts coming your way.

I have no insurance at all. The dentist's appointment I had last week was actually the first time I've had any sort of medical care since I was dropped from my mom's plan four years ago.
