And concentrated more on things like chronic pain and diabetes than mental illness, though one page I saw acknowledged cancer, eating disorders and mental illness. I did not know you had OCD, man. Not that it changes anything, I just never knew that.

I read The Man Who Mistook HIs Wife for a Hat in high school...lots of fascinating case studies in there, and yet, also sad stories.

OCPD actually, but yeah, it was a bit of a surprise when I got the diagnosis. I expected major depression and GAD, but I hadn't considered any personality disorders. Of course, I discussed it with my shrink, researched it on my own and saw that everything he said really fit.

The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat is somewhere in my mile-long to-read list. Maybe I'll actually start it one of these days.

And rather widely applicable, too. It's part of my general "be genuine, try to be healthy and let the labels fall where they may" line of thinking.
