I am officially a wimp

I used to mock my friend C. when he'd come to visit me in New York in the winter after he'd moved to Los Angeles because he complained so bitterly about the cold, when it was usually fairly mild for a NYC winter. It has only taken a few months of being back here, and I am now officially as wimpy as he became--and my descent was probably faster. I ( Read more... )

I don't disagree with you about how they spelled everything out last night. I felt like I was listening to them summarize everything we've been saying they should be saying. I still loved it, but it was a tad bit underwhelming, especially after the first four eps. Nice and relaxing, though.

1: I am so disappointed in myself for becoming a California wimp! I'm from Chicago, for crying out loud! I should be wearing capris and a tshirt! Ughhh Soooo annoying. I miss the turning of the leaves and frost on the grass...

2: You're not completely in the minority on the ep. I tend to agree with you (the moment Dean muttered, "Sounds like remains *meaningful look*" I knew they were pushing too hard). I did surprisingly enjoy Paris and how they integrated her into the story. But overall, not impressed.

3: I was a bit shocked by Obama too- I feel like it came across as more of a slap in the face directed at GWB than real recognition of his accomplishments. Although it does force him to act on his promises now, so that's good.
